Since I am working on the publisher’s deadline, timelines are firm. Although the entire test knit is 10 weeks, I will require tester notes at the 6 week mark. The majority of the patterns use bulky weight yarn, so they will knit up relatively quickly. If you notice any errors, please let me know asap!
- Monday, January 2nd: Testers will be contacted with the pattern sent as an attachment. Check your junk mail!
- Week of January 2nd: Testers will be invited to join an Instagram group chat pertaining to the test knit you have been selected for.
- Friday, February 10th: Pattern notes due via Google Form (this is a hard deadline). It’s ok if the project is not 100% completed at this point, but please carefully track how much yarn has been used.
- Friday, March 10th: Photos due (minimum 4 photos), 2 of which must be of the finished garment on a body. Please share your photo(s) to your Instagram feed and tag the book and pattern specific hashtag (TBD). If you have a Ravelry account, please create your project page by this date.
What yarn can I use?
Any! You can use any yarn or combination of yarns that will give you gauge.
Can I sign up for more than one test?
Yes, absolutely! However I will try my best to spread the wealth and will unlikely assign a tester more than two projects due to the tight deadlines involved.
